@Sierra Chart Engineering I am requesting is to combine the Start Time, End Time, and Line Stop Time parameters currently available in the "High/Low for Time Period - Extended" study and add those parameters to the "Period OHLC-Variable Period" study. If the "Period OHLC-Variable Period" study has the ability to specify the Start Time and End Time on a chart this will permit additional flexibility to draw OHLC lines for specific periods instead of the combined RTH and ETH trading sessions or have separate stacked copies of the study that allows the user to outline the start and end times for different trading sessions (i.e. the U.S., Asian and European sessions). I am trying to draw the Open and Last zones for a specific time period using the rectangle to top and rectangle to bottom draw styles to overlay candlestick bodies marking the period Open to Close for the specific RTH and ETH trading hours and overlay the candlestick body on any chart. Currently, the "Period OHLC-Variable Period" study uses the following standard Time Period Types: Minutes Days Weeks Months Years Seconds Quarters Previous/Period OHLC-Variable Period However, the time Periods listed above are limited as these periods are dependent on the "Chart Settings > Session Times Start (HH:MM:SS) and End Times" and are not flexible enough to permit the drawing of OHLC lines for the specific RTH and ETH Trading hours (i.e. 09:30:00 AM EST to 04:15:00 PM EST and 04:15:01 PM EST to 09:29:59 AM EST). I have tried using the "High/Low for Time Period - Extended" study by inputting the desired Start and End Times then changing the "Input Data High" setting as the "Open" and the "Input Data Low" settings as the "Last" price for that time period. But those inputs failed to draw the correct Open and Close prices for the specified Time Period. High/Low for Time Period - Extended See image attached.
