Just coming back to this again... I know I've seen some dialogs change and we can now edit some text fields directly from the Manage Drawings window, which is great but I want to go a lot further with text... 1. Search Everywhere for everything Chart Annotations and SierraChart Functions 2. Export to PDF Examples below (especially the attached image example from Google) I would like the cmd+k in tradingview.com, descript.com, visual studio, or Google's Free IDE: https://ide.cloud.google.com/ (shift+cmd+P) See image attached. Idea would be that if I just start typing I will get an instant list of SierraChart functions as well as charts that have the annotations I made that match the text I am entering or chart labels, etc. Everybody has probably seen on a Mac (OSx) how you can search using fields kind: name: date: even tags: https://www.macrumors.com/how-to/files-folders-tags-macos/ If I want to search for all my Extended Rectangles or Risk Reward objects, I can. If I want to search for a specific support or resistance line, I can type some of the text. If I want to change the color of anything... All of these should be contextual and found in the cmd+k hierarchy. I would also like to be able to export the drawings as PDF or SVG so that they remain searchable when I put them into my DEVONthink database journal so they can be attached to the analysis being created. |
