There's a podcast called "Chat With Traders" where professionals in the trading space are interviewed. Some of the episodes that cover fully- & semi-automated approaches include: 178: Nick Radge - The Blueprint: Create a Simple Trend Following System 225: Kyle Schultz -- The Art and Science of Algorithmic Futures Trading 208: Brannigan Barrett -- Adopting Systems to Improve Decision Making and Trade Results 213: John Roberson -- An Obsession with Edge, Powered By Automation There's likely many other related episodes before 178 that I'm not aware of. There's many books in this space. Just search "Algorithmic Trading" or "Systematic Trading" or "Quantitive Trading" on Amazon or wherever. Similarly, there's 100,000s of papers. Search similar topics on Google Scholar. Here's a search for "Future Algo Trading": https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C47&q=futures+algo+trading&btnG= When you begin to be interested in a particular strategy, then you should try those on Google Scholar too. "Mean Reversion Trading", "Momentum Trading", "Breakout Trading", "Pairs Trading", "HFT", etc. A tip, often the first link to a paper will be behind a paywall. To find the actual PDF try searching the title in a regular search engine. It also might be useful to check out Quantpedia who has a paid collection of 100s of papers and backtests on various strategies: https://quantpedia.com/ This is not an easy path. Yes, you can get rich but you can also spend a decade and never find a profitable system. However, developing profitable strategies is a skill, just like any other -- the more time you put in the better you get. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-03-07 15:49:56
