I have follow up questions before making the switch because i do not know exactly how data feed and order routing works so I'd appreciate your patience. (fyi, I've been repeatedly asking my broker/AMP if/when they plan to support TETON order routing. they continue to be silent. they simply are not responding to my emails. weird. as I said, if they plan to implement TETON order routing, i'd rather not go thru the trouble of moving my accounts to another broker.) Until AMP implements TETON or I decide to move my accounts to another broker that supports TETON (Stage 5?), I'd like to switch to Denali data feed ASAP because SC no longer is performing well with CQG data feed. Please confirm the following is what I need to do: 1) I understand that I can change my package to include Denali data feed at "account control panel." 2) You previous told me to hold activation until certain date to avoid exchange fee. Do I still need to do this if I am going to switch to Denali today? 3) how much is "exchange fee" for Denali per contract traded? 4) per your previous instruction, once I activate Denali, I notify CQG to cancel "exchange fees." I assume they would understand when I request this. however, for my benefit, what is "exchange fees"? also, at this point, what components of CQG service I'd be still using after canceling the "exchange fees" only? 5) once I do above, since i will be trading with AMP account which does not support TETON, which order routing service would I be using at this point? still CQG? if so, i guess you can separate CQG's exchange service and order routing? (i apologize if this is too elementary.) 6) if i activate Denali data feed today (w/o having a change to cancel CQG exchange fees w/ AMP since they are close until Monday), if i trade Sunday night, would my orders be routed properly? Thank you again for me asking very basic questions, I simply don't know much about the data feed and order routing and I want to make sure i understand enough before making the change. I need to switch data feed because I love SC but SC does not like CQG and I am having some problems. |
