Starting with version 2354 and higher, Sierra Chart no longer has technical integration to the Transact service. That has been discontinued. For more information about this, refer to this thread: *Important* Priority Message to Transact Users It is only necessary to read the first post #1 in the thread linked above. There are three possibilities: 1. You will need to move to a new broker and use our Teton Order Routing Service which replaces Transact: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing We will make this process very easy. If you need help, just simply post here and we will have a broker contact you. Or you can choose one among the list at step 2 here: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing: Setup Instructions The process of moving to a new broker is very easy and they handle the transition for you. Much easier than moving to a new trading platform. Additionally, to use the Teton Order Routing Service and also get real-time data, requires that you change to Service Package 10, 11 or 12. The instructions linked above explain this. 2. Or if you just require Sierra Chart for charting only, change to Service Package 10, 11 or 12 and use the Denali Exchange Data Feed: Denali Exchange Data Feed (Full information about this service is on this page as well as instructions to use it) And then follow this easy solution to authorize the CME Group data at nonprofessional exchange fees: Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement 3. You can keep your account at Ninja Trader and ask Ninja Trader to move you from the Transact system to CQG. In this case you will still need to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed for data: Denali Exchange Data Feed Instructions for CQG: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions Although the Teton Order Routing Service is going to provide you overall a higher quality level of order management as compared to CQG and zero cost by comparison to CQG .10 USD per fill. We know that from experience. And we believe that you will be able to lower your costs by using Teton with a supported broker, as compared to using CQG and Ninja. We have heard, that Infinity/Transact users are typically saving 1 USD per round turn through a broker supporting Teton. The choice is yours but please consider the possibilities. 4. (Option removed) ---- In either case, you can continue to use your very same installation of Sierra Chart and you do not need to make any changes to your Chartbooks. All that remains compatible with the Teton Order Routing Service. You will just need to translate the symbols only, by using this command: Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service Older versions of Sierra Chart will maintain support for Transact to approximately June 2022 but support can end at any moment in time. Ninja trader could also discontinue support for Transact at any time. To go back to the version of Sierra Chart you were using before, refer to the instructions here: Software Download: Software Rollback Procedure In this way, you can continue to use Transact for the time being. If you do go back to an earlier version to continue to use Transact, you can translate the symbols in your Chartbooks back to the Transact symbols with Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service: Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service --- When you begin to use version 2354 or higher and the Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service is set to "Transact WS", then the following is what happens: When you open your Chartbooks, the symbols will be automatically translated to the symbol format used by the Teton Order Routing Service. This is the replacement service for Transact. And is a much higher quality replacement in numerous ways. If you are using the Denali Exchange Data Feed and paying for the exchange fees, you will continue to get real-time CME Group data for up to 30 days. Thereafter, you will need to connect with a compatible service like Teton. For other exchanges you get from the Denali Data Feed, you will continue to receive those in real time without any time restriction. If you are not using the Denali Exchange Data Feed, you will receive streaming delayed data for your charts. In all cases, the historical data is provided by the Sierra Chart Historical Data Service. There is nothing special to do. This happens automatically. ---- If you have any further questions, post them at the bottom of this thread here and we will get them answered for you; Information for Transact Users for Versions 2354 and Higher We also, are going to be removing support for CTS, and Gain Capital.
