The Sierra Chart function for creating Continuous Futures Contracts in and of itself is very reliable as of the latest versions. When there is a problem, it is because of "missing data". This could either be historical daily data, if there is a need for that based upon the continuous futures contract type, or missing intraday data. The simple solution to this, is to re-download/download the data following the instructions here:

Once you have the data, the feature will work consistently and accurately every time.
