which is that on initial opening the program in the morning, everything is taking about 500% longer to open up, download overnight data, and print bars etc. Just sits there cranking and grinding, did not used to do that at all.
Nothing has changed which would cause this. Nothing has changed in newer versions which would change this one way or another either.

Most likely what you have experienced, was related to your system. Updating would not have changed this issue one way or another. If it did, it was only coincidental.
