It sounds like you are wanting the VIX Index, which is different from the VIX Futures. The CFE (CBOE Futures Exchange) has the VIX Futures. In order to get the VIX Index ($VIX) you would need to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and enable the CBOE Indices exchange.
