It looks like you are not using the start and end options correctly. You need to right-click on a profile and select "Merge Profile Begin", and then you move to another profile (the one that is 30 days away) and then right-click on that profile and select "Merge Profile End". The system will then merge all the profiles together including the ones that you selected as the Begin and End profiles.
