First, if you are trying to merge a large number of profiles, then you would best served to just use the TPO Inputs to define a single TPO the way you want it. For example, for a 30 day TPO, just set the Input for Profile Time Period Length to 30, assuming that the Profile Time Period Length Unit is Days. But, the Begin and End Merge options should work and give you the same results. We just tested 30 days of merge to ensure that it worked properly and we did not have any issues.
