Post From: Constant Range > Range setting = 1.00, Within A Range Of 20% ?

I want a chart to have a "gutter" above or below the intraday price action but keep recent activity more or less centered "in the yard" too. Let me see if I can make this short and sweet.

Scale Settings, Scale Range, Constant Range, Constant Range Scale Mode: Re-Center to the last bar on every update.

The Setting of Interest is this: "Re-Center to the last bar on every update".

Is there a way to assign a Re-Center-"Range"? In other words I want to re-center to a Range wider than just to the dead center. I want to re-center to a range that could be designated as maybe "Within XX Percent from the center" based on the radio button Constant Range > Range setting.

So for this we could make the Constant Range > Range setting to be 1.00.

Additionally we could then set the "Within A Range Of" setting to be 20%.

So in practice this would allow a Re-Center to a Range that would vary by the selected percent value to either side of center. Price will "wander" north of center sometimes and south of center sometimes - by a prescribed amount. Re-Center movement would occur only if price exceeded that 20% AND only to that 20% boundary, Not to dead center.

Conversely, price would need to exceed the opposite boundary before any re-center activity would occur.

The hoped for effect is to allow a "gutter" above or below the price action but keep everything "in the yard" too.

Does that make sense?
