We know it seems a bit complicated, but it's really quite simple. Sierra Chart is setup to receive data either from us (Sierra Chart) or from the trading service. First it looks for data from us, and if you are not subscribed to real-time data for a particular symbol, then it will try to get the data from your trading service. We take care of understanding what data is for what symbol given the differences in the symbols for different services. Therefore, it does not matter that CQG calls the symbol TYA and SC Data - All Services calls it ZN. If you are setup to get that data from us, then it comes from us, otherwise it would come from your trading service (as specified above). Therefore, in this case, since TYA (ZN) is traded on the CBOT, and you are setup to get real-time data for the CBOT from us, the data is coming from us. You can verify this by noting the [M] notation after the symbol in the chart header. Refer to the end of the section at the following link: Data/Trade Service Settings: Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Other Settings) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
