Hello SierraChart team: I would like to echo the request from jjdTrade above. All multi-time-frame traders will likely be experiencing the same friction when drawing objects in SC. While SierraChart is infinitely more powerful than other platforms such as TradingView, JForex, and MT4, all of those platforms have had this feature for some time, and it is painful to use multiple-time-frame strategies without this feature. In addition, the ability to create drawing objects with a default setting of "Do NOT allow copy of Drawing to Other Charts," or "Allow Copy only to the selected time ranges," would erase any remaining friction from switching entirely to SierraChart. Ideally, I would assign a set of custom drawing tools and custom text tools to have different time frame and copy-allowed states, in some future version of SC. That said, there are so many powerful features which SC has that override this concern, that I am using it despite this unfortunate friction in my trading methods. Best Regards, Mike |
