You can certainly have the alert go off intra-bar as soon as the condition for the alert is met, just make sure the options for Alert Only Once per Bar and Evaluate on Bar Close are not enabled.

The tricky part of this, however, is that for an alert to go off again, it has to go back to False and then True again. So if you are checking that a value is greater than another (X > Y), then when X is greater than Y the alert is True and you get your notification. But until X becomes less than Y, the alert stays True. When X becomes less than Y and the alert is False, then when it goes above again, you will get another notification.

The one thing the system can not do, and we are not sure if this is what you are asking, is that it can not continuously alert at some interval that you set when becomes True. There is an option to run a program when an Alert is True, so you could create this yourself.
