I'm wondering if someone could clear this up for me. I have a chartbook with the 3 Indices, SPX500, which has volume, $NASX which has no volume and $DOWI which has volume. Also the SPX500 chart continuously updated overnight showing current price and volume while the other 2 charts are not updating. These are daily charts. Why is SPX500 updating overnight if it is an index, which I am doubting? Why does SPX500 and $DOWI show volume while $NASX does not? What 3 Indices symbols should I be using to correctly represent the Dow Industrials, The Nasdaq and the S&P 500? Thanks |
