If I deselect the chart option to "allow real-time updating of historical charts", the name of the stock (such as Apple, Caterpillar, etc.) does not appear in the title bar. When I enable the option, it appears. This happens for most stocks, but not every single one. It should appear always, I would think. I'm talking about daily historical charts here, and
This is to be expected.Also, if the option is disabled, the symbol itself does not appear in the region data line as it should. When enabled, it appears. This is a larger problem than the above for sure, as I can't see what symbol I'm looking at! We cannot possibly see how this could be the case.
