First, we apologize for the confusion.

Although you had activated the CME exchange, it was not actually active on the backend. We fixed that. Reconnect to the Interactive Brokers data feed with the commands on the File menu.

The CME exchange can only be accessed within Interactive Brokers. Other instances/copies of Sierra Chart outside of Interactive Brokers, can access the data by sharing, which you are familiar with.

At this time you will get the streaming real-time data. When you see the [M] after the symbol, the data definitely comes from the Sierra Chart data feed.

If you have any further questions, to make this easy it would be best to first focus just on one particular symbol you are having trouble with and then we will work to help you with that and then you should then be able to understand how to work with other symbols. Once we understood that you are getting "symbol is unknown", that led us to realize that there was a problem with the configuration on the backend.
