I'm trying to use formula 5 on the pivot points daily study but the formulas are not creating the correct results on my chart. I have tried reference to a daily chart too, still not creating the correct results. For example, formula 5: I see on my daily chart that the study is referencing to for the pivot levels, yesterdays (friday 17th Sept) high is 4472.5, low 4406.5, close 4421.5. Formula for R5 per sierra webpage is Resistance Level 5 (R5) = (Yesterday's High / Yesterday's Low) * Yesterday's Close so answer to R5 should be circa 4487, but its coming up with 4425.75 in sierra? Even when I manually enter OHLC it does not create the correct answers, creates 4425.5 for R5. has the formula been changed? Is there a way to check this? Any help on why it is doing this be much appreciated thanks, Nick |
