You have us a bit confused. You state that you are placing "a Buy Stop order one tick above the Close". But then the rejection states that you are placing a "Sell order". So we need to better understand the situation and know if you are placing a buy or a sell above the current price. Keep in mind a sell order above the current price would fill immediately, since the current price is better. Although it looks like CQG doesn't allow this occur. In the end, you will need to contact your broker to find out why the particular order you are putting in is not allowed by your order routing service.
