1. We recommend updating in order to ensure that you have all the recent changes. In particular, there has been a fix to an issue we had with the Trading Evaluator service that we offer. Therefore, if you were wanting to use that service, you would need to be on the latest release.

2. Right now you are not getting any real-time data from us. Package 10 is not enough to get the data. To get real-time data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed, you need to go through all of the Setup Instructions for the particular exchange that you want to get data from. For example, for the CME Group, you would go through these instructions:

As noted above, we recommend you use the Delayed Exchange Data Feed if you are going to just be practicing with Sierra Chart. This way you do not need to pay for the data and you do not need to worry about connecting to your trading account in order to verify your non-professional status for the CME Group.
