Dear Support To reduce the on-load workload which causes the resource monitor to display SC "not responding" I've moved to additional instances as you suggest. Spreading the load by as you suggested, using additional cores, has stopped the on-load issue but I obviously now have split chartbook groups. What was 5 Chartbooks (just the one instance) is now 10 (5+5) Chartbooks spanning 2 instances. As the instruments were specifically grouped in each Chartbook by splitting them I'm now having to remember to select the next chartbook in instance two - every time I increment Chartbooks in the first instance. The toolbar offer "Next Chartbook" but is there a way to link "Next Chartbook" across instances? I hope this makes sense. Many thanks |
