I am getting the following error message on startup: "Symbol is unknown. Click for symbol information. Unsupported symbol". What caused the error: 1) I switched brokers from AMP to Infinity Futures. I must have missed a step in the setup, where can I find the documentation to confirm that setup has been performed correctly? Steps already taken: 1) Switched Data/Trade Service settings to TransAct WS / added credentials (data is connected [green]; I am able to download historical data and receive live prices) 2) Used Edit / Translate Symbols to Current Service to modify symbol nomenclature 3) Canceled the AMP affiliation via the Sierra Charts website (did not add Infinity Futures affiliation - unsure how to do this or if necessary) My preliminary assessment of the issue is that my Sierra Charts log-in credentials (not data/trade service auth creds) are somehow still linked to my previous broker (AMP), despite canceling this affiliation on the SC website. Sufficient funds is not the issue since my contract w/ SC is on auto-renew, and I have several months remaining before renewal. Again, I am able to receive historical downloads and live pricing for my markets, but the error message is annoying. |
