the error message occurs from the sc logon screen. this is where it originally occurred but then it was due to transact not updating my account opting into sc. i called, they corrected. i was then able to logon to both machines since last friday. i double checked this afternoon. i logged in this morning on one machine (i left the other running overnight). logon was successful. later in the day i noticed missing data on one of the daily charts. i went to chart settings reset to roll up to current contract and changed settings to 'continuous contract volume based back adjusted'. message came back that i needed to download current version. i did. appeared successful. i then tried to load/logon and rec'd the sc logon error message that pw or account name is in error. these things wouldn't seem to have anything in common other than the sequence of events. i have not tried to 'retrieve lost password' |
