Are you telling me that the test trade which I placed on the Sierra chart was actually a LIVE trade???

No, not at all. What we are telling you is that there are two different SIM modes. There is a Simulation mode within Sierra Chart and there is a Simulated Live service with TransAct. It sounds like these are getting confused. You have to make sure that both Sierra Chart and your TransAct DOM are set to the same Connection Type.

If your Connection Type is Simulated Live in all cases, then you will NOT be using the Simulation Mode within Sierra Chart, in which case the orders in Sierra Chart will not show as being part of the Sierra Chart simulation (they will not start with SIM in the Trade Activity Log). These orders are being sent to the Simulated Live service with TransAct.

If you have Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On within Sierra Chart, then you will see the SIM before the symbol name in the Trade Activity Log, but those orders are NOT sent to TransAct, as they are just kept within Sierra Chart.

In order to make things a little simpler, please let us know what you mean when you say SIM. Is this the Simulated Live service with TransAct (not in Simulation Mode within Sierra Chart) or is this the Simulation Mode within Sierra Chart?
