Hello eveyone. I've been using sierra chart for close to 5 months now. everything was running smoothly until a few weeks ago when I started to get the same error messages every hour when sierra chart is running. "HttpSendRequest failed: Windows error code 2: The system cannot find the file specified. | 2013-04-25 15:41:17" and today I found out that I couldn't use fast update anymore. every time I tried, I get error message: "A request for the latest software update has been made. | 2013-04-25 15:41:17 Downloading... You can continue to work during the download. | 2013-04-25 15:41:17 HttpSendRequest failed: Windows error code 2: The system cannot find the file specified. | 2013-04-25 15:41:17 Failed to download software update due to an error. Request ID: 2. | 2013-04-25 15:41:17 " Though I'm still able to connect to my data feed, and my chart updates correctly. My computer system running the sierra chart is used exclusively for trading. the system configuration hasn't been changed since I started using sierra chart almost 5 months ago. I'm using Windows Firewall plus microsoft Security Essentials, I've never installed any other firewall or anti-virus program. Though it hasn't affected my trading so far, it is adding unneeded stress. please help me fix this. |
