To begin with, the "To" date is not editable. It will almost always be the current day. The typical reason both the "From" and "To" fields are empty is that the system is downloading the data. If the system is not downloading data and you are still showing nothing in those fields, then the question is whether you have the bars properly displayed in the chart.
