If I open the film and choose any timepoint on a seek bar, the palyer starts palying the film instantly, no matter how far this timepoint from the beginning. Why scid files aren't that fast?
We can not answer this question. There is a lot of programming behind movie players and the way the data is laid out. Could we do better - perhaps, but there are always going to be limitations.
