It sounds like the problem you are having is simply related to the differences in the values for the two different studies. If you really want to get them to sync together, then you would need to adjust the values for one of the studies so that it is within the same range as the other. The easiest way to do this, in a consistent manner, will be to use the Spreadsheet Study and make your adjustments based on the values that you are seeing.
