This is a mid-2015 model with 16 GB, so I don't think the problem is hardware. It's interesting that you have had issues with screen resolution. Mine was fine yesterday, when I first tried using Parallels, but after a night's sleep it was convinced the external monitor was 1440 x 900 instead of 1920 x 1080. It claimed to recognize the Retina screen but treated that as 1440 x 900 as well. Rebooting solved the problem. Still can't synchronize the charts or use the DOM, and these are much bigger concerns for me. If those features work for you, I don't have a clue. Maybe I set up the DOM wrong--pretty sure not--but why "Synchronize charts" is MIA seems a whole different sort of issue. If I am still struggling tomorrow, I probably will just buy another Windows machine. Thanks for mentioning CodeWeaver Crossover. I hadn't heard about it. Will see whether it would do the job for me. |
