I'm running SC on a Mac with Parallels. I have a 2015 Mac with 8 mb RAM. My Mac was starting to run slow before I installed Parallels and Windows. But it worked great at first for 3 or 4 months. Occassionally I'll have issues when I reboot my Mac, I had to reboot 3 or 4 times last time to get Windows to run right but it is now runnning good. Also anytime I minimize Parallels to do something with my Mac, when I go back I have to change the screen resolution. If your Macbook Pro has plenty of memory it should be fine. Not sure whether it will work on the new Mac's with the M1 processor though. I would prefer using CodeWeaver Crossover where you don't have to install the whole Windows program. |
