Hello If you download the CURRENT version from the website directly or from within the sierra chart program, you get the really old version 2161 instead of 2261. If you are a new user it doesn't harm much, but if you are an existing user UPGRADING from an earlier version, you will end with a broken sierra chart system. You can get the actual 2261 version if you download the actual PREREALEASE version or better, you download the SPECIFIC version 2261. Typical error messages are: "Configuration file error: Unable to read due to newer file format." "Configuration file (accounts) error: Unable to read due to newer file format." "Configuration file (KeyboardShortcuts) error: Unable to read due to newer file format." The login mask has a blank Account Name and Password field. Since I do a full backup of the sierra chart directory before any upgrade I was lucky. Currently I don't know how to recover from this situation if you don't have a backup to restore.
