Thank you @bradh, Re: Q1: is there a limit on how many separate instances of SC (installed in separate folders) can be run at the same time on the same machine? None that I know of. One of the benefits of separate instances is they can run on different cores, so you are ultimately limited by your system hardware: cores, RAM, and speed. I tried to run 3 independent SC instances this morning, and although I was able to login, I wasn't receiving live data to the 3rd inctance. I had to close one of the 3 in order to get 2 instances to receive live data and connect to data/service provider. Q: Do you know if there is a limit of SC after 2 instances and maybe I need to pay extra for more logins? or does it have to do with live data limitations? I used 3 different and independent Data services such as Rithmic from 2 different sources as well as Gain Capital for the 3rd instance. Thank you. |
