Was looking through the posting guidelines. Don't know how "advanced" a question this is. Neither TradeStation nor MultiCharts (MC is a little better) does simultaneous manual and automated trading well. Was wondering if this is a feature possible in SC. Basically, you manually enter a position. And using a built-in "synchronizer" the code synchronizes your chart position with the broker position so your automated strategies know you've entered into it. From there you can do things like SetStopLoss or SetPercentTrailing, and allow the strategies/signals to exit for you. Great for trading multiple instruments when the action is fast. It only works half the time in MC. Haven't really tried it in TradeStation because it sounds more complicated. Anyone tried this in SC? |
