When connecting to Gain account should SC display that there has been a connection made to Gain.
I get "Waiting to connect...." and "connecting" and "Waiting to connect" highlighted in yellow. Yes, it needs to make the connection, so the Status Bar would need to be green in order to verify that the connection has been made. Does the server for Gain make a difference? its on sim.gainfutures.com
Absolutely. Connecting to the sim server would only validate that you have a simulated account and not an actual trading account. You need to connect to your live account.
