Further digging into Backfill issues w SC v.2246 (v.2239 and Forward) has produced the following observations: (1) Certain symbols whose backfills are requested of IB are not honored. This includes a manually generated request via Right.Mouse.Click (in body of chart item)->'Delete and Download Data'. These certain symbols at the moment are ascertained to be VIX (eg VIX-20210421-CFE which is available by special subscription thru IB) and SPX OPTS (eg SPX-OPT-20210405-3950-P-SMART-100-USD-BAAVG); there are probably others, see User 'Agent Orange' comments earlier in this support thread. (2) Commonly used futures symbols like ES (eg. ES-202106-GLOBEX) and NQ (eg. NQ-202106-GLOBEX) seem to work in the normal and expected manner. (3) I used 3 charts in two loading scenarios (1st) - Loaded manually into SC (works as in (1) and (2) above) (2nd) - Loaded on startup via Global Settings->General Settings->Files To Open On Startup (works eventually after about 3+ minutes of 'processing'; initially appears to the user as 'hung-up') (4) I am attaching these 3 test charts for your use if u see fit (5) In a Reply to follow I am including the Msg Log for the manual chart loading scenario of these 3 charts.
