During the process of connecting to TWS the only thing that Sierra Chart may do is send your TWS Username and Password into the TWS Login window. If this Login window is not displayed, nothing happens. To prevent this remove the TWS Username and Password from Global Settings >>Data/Trade Service Settings. Otherwise, Sierra Chart will have no interaction with TWS windows. We do not see the significance of disabling the API in TWS.
