I have been recently updating my PC to new CPU + MB + RAM and now today also added a M.2 SSD with a read speed of app 5400MB/s where I newly installed SC onto. Though I do see a speed increase with that SSD on startup of SC and on load times when changing bar duration on high data symbols (as ES), the increase is not as much as I had expected, as SSD is like 10 times faster than the old one. Now, I dont want to waste your time, I do not have performance issues, but I was wondering what the speed is, that SC is opening those big intraday data files. Hm, Just reading right now that a CB should open in 5sec max. Well no, mine take longer, but its many charts in it. like up to 30. No need to past me the performance increase suggestion threads.
