Hi Team, My app is connected to the platform through DTC (localhost). Due to the transition to Sierra Chart Direct Billing I have decided to subscribe to the Denali feed as well and cancel CQG (I haven't done this yet so I can switch back and forth) as recommended. This is how I measure latency: First I let SC to adjust the Windows time. latency = Windows time - Server update time(can be depth or trade update as well). My app displays the average latency measured in the last 30 seconds. If I am using CQG my measured latency is only between 0.08-0.12 ms, but for Denali it varies from 0-600 ms. The feed doesn't seem slow for my eyes. My app's CPU consumption is around 2%. I have also changed the real-time data compression to no compression, but I haven't noticed any change.Max depth levels is set to 30. Do you have any idea what is causing this lag? Thanks. |
