Hello SierraChart support, thanks for bringing more market stats recently. I really appreciate it. As e-mini indicies trader I am glad to have new Advance-Decline nett issues, great job. But I also depend on NYSE TICK and the new one is very similar to the old one, almost exactly the same I would say. I did some comparison to prove that. You can see it in added charts. What bothers me is its behaviour at the open. It is very important where TICK opens and when it tests 0 level for first time. As you can see in charts, there is big difference in opening prints in SCH TICK and in TICK from other datafeed (at the bottom). I also have access to another two versions of TICKs and they all vary at some points, but they do calculate right at the open, which SCH TICK doesn't. I beg you for improving this big issue, it would make it much much useful. Thanks a lot. Charts: top - old $TICK; middle - new TICK-NYSE; bottom - other TICK; highlighted values are 0,+-600,+-1000;time-frame 2Min PS: besides opening difference, they also vary in absolute values on some extreme TICK readings, as well as distribution below/above 0 line, which is also very important to read correctly which side is in control |
