In your Main instance, ensure that it is in Simulation Mode by going to the Trade pulldown and noting that the option for Trade Simulation Mode On has a checkmark next to it. If it does, then open a Trade Window and verify that the Trade Account Selection is set to Sim1 (or other Sim#).
