I simply want to highlight the candle that is 20 bars in the past....and have this highlight continue to be the candle 20 periods in the past as the chart continuously updates. I tried a spreadsheet and it worked for an instant...then the highlight would disappear when a new bar was added to the chart. I put the following formula in the spreadsheet column o...it simply referenced the "bar numbering" study that was in column AA =if(AA3-$AA$22=0,1," ") It gave a blank for every row except row 22 (i.e., 20 bars in the past)...but, it then disappeared when a new bar was added to the chart. Must be a simple way to do this?
