@User379468 - I don’t actually know what happened, because no one I have spoken to has been able to give me any answers.... I had -8 short MES positions going into the Monday 1pm close. By 6pm reset my account said -10 (+2 phantom trades). Whenever AMP said the issue had been fixed around 8-9 PM, I only had -3 short positions left (there was a +7 trade that appeared in the Sierra chart trade order window). I called AMP and told them that TT had made a mistake in reconciling trades, and that my account positioning/balance was incorrect... They told me that I could escalate the situation with management in the AM...( which is exactly when shit hit the fan for everyone else en masse). At all times I maintained an account balance enough to cover 100% margin (over 1.5k per contract) on each open position. At some point later that night, 3 additional MES were bought near the ATH... which supposedly left my account flat (that’s what I saw on the screen before I passed out anyway).... When the US open rolled around, that’s when phantom 1/2 lot orders began to appear and eventually trading was disabled by AMP... |
