How much data it take on the subfolder ? Is it the same as the main folder ? do I need to copy my Ticker data files ? How to have all the subinstance ticker update without having to download ? Looks to me like the subinstance are downloading their own data from the data feed. I upload a picture of my 4 main. you can see the Data they use. Its all ticker that I already have in my main data folder ( but its on another location not the sierra chart folder ) But still , when the instance are create , they copy all the require files to have my chartbook, trading preference and Study preset setup. I am asking all this because I realize its faster with multiple instance. And from what I will do , I will require around 8 of them. And because of mac , I have to place my Main folder on my main Hardrive : and its only 256 GB. That is why im using an 1 TB SSD for my data folder. I just post another picture showing that my data folder on subfolder is getting bigger too. ( that is why I ask if I should copy my main folder to the Subinstance. ) and I just wonder If the data from the subinstance is getting it directly from the Main data or it download it from the server ?
