I am seriously confuse about what to do now.... Just to be more specific, I am using IB as my broker , Your Equity feed as my data provider. I dont see the M on the subfolder chart ticker. I can never Change the data folder of my subinstance as they reset to default each time I load them. I try to find DTC Protocol Server >> Enable DTC Protocol Server for the main instance , cant find it. On my subinstance , i try to change port like in the example , does seem to change anything. Generic Sub-Client Server Address: 127.0.0.1:11094 Historical Data Server: 127.0.0.1:11095 When I do file and find for stock , it does not get any usefull result. I just want to understand how to do it so it will be fast and reliable. Do we use the data in the main folder ? so we dont have to download it for each subinstance ? or we have to copy the main folder data ? or what exactly. now it seems to download all the time. thanks in advance.
