- It turns out that instead of using the "Find Symbol" window, I can directly refer to a symbol by its filename as long as the file is in the Sierra Chart Data folder. Yes this is true and we have now updated the documentation.The Find Symbol button is there just for convenience. But you can put whatever symbol you want in the box.
