An SSD will slow down if it gets close to full. I suggest removing files and/or applications you don't need. Run Disk Cleanup to remove temp and other unneeded files that tend to build up over time.

If you have adjusted the number of days or the Intraday Data Storage Time Unit, then you can delete old SCID files. They will not be removed automatically. You could delete them all, and just let Sierra redownload the ones it needs when you open the chart. Or you can do it manually based on the contract name/date. If you are trading Forex or Equities, the files will keep growing in size instead of a new one being created during futures rollover. Then the best choice is to just delete them and Sierra will only download as far back as your settings specify.

If you don't need all the charts loaded at startup, then turn off remove or disable automatic File loading in the Global Settings>>General Settings window.
