How much RAM do you have? How much is in use when SC is running? If you are low on RAM, Windows will page a lot and your paging file will increase and fluctuate which can cause issues. Make sure you set your paging file to a fixed amount. Yes we were thinking later this is actually what is probably going on in this users case.Not only this, but the operating system can cache the intraday data as it is being read from the data files and that will cause a significant increase in memory, and if there is not enough system memory, then it goes to the paging file.
