I'm trying to understand what is causing the big changes with the space left on C: (where sierra is located) for example before running sierra (fresh after a reboot) I have around 10GB available - after running it and while it loads the date files it can drop almost to 1GB available space it can raise up and the free space is between 2-4 or something while sierra is active. If I reboot the pc again its back to the original 10GB size - what is causing it to drop that much? if the size on disk size of the scid files are about 1/4 of the actual file does it mean it loads it to maximum on each scid file that is used (I'm using continues contracts)? and if so why is the space left available after closing sierra is around 2-6GB is it related maybe to pagefile? I've limited the 1 tick data to half of what it was and also reduced the number days of the heavier charts that are loading so that I won't get to 0 space since it got to a point that 7GB are not enough for that load (which used to be ok for a long time) thank you |
