I have spent a couple of hours trying to figure it out but I am unable to so far. To reiterate here are the steps I used to take to get the platform working. I would open SC and it would log in normally and then it used the DTS settings to log in my IBKR platform. At this point I disconnect SC and normally run through the install latest version process. Once the IBKR is loaded and the SC installation process is finished I open my primary chart book. If I do not go through the SC installation process and attempt to load the chart book I get an error saying this is not a valid chart book. I posted the original message because now in addition to the problem of installing the SC update every time in order for it to work I have to copy and paste a config file from the back up folder to avoid the newer file format error. I tried going through some old chartbooks this morning without doing the update to SC work around and I was able to load some older chartbooks but the formatting is full of errors on the attached trade window. None of the buttons/menus are visible except for buy and sell. |
