Sorry to be bugging you with this, but I wonder, do the custom studies lend themselves to this? I am trying to scan on the Hoffman slow trigger which is displayed in SG3. Even with absolutely simple commands, like SG3>SG3[-1] or SG3<>0 there is no alert on any symbol. I tried a very simple scan on the chart, C>60, and sure enough, that triggered alerts and they showed up in the alerts log.
Any suggestions? One way to see if a study outputs values that can be used to trigger alerts is to add the Spreadsheet Study study to the chart then look in columns AA and above. If a custom study does not output Subgraph values, you will need to know its algorithm to create an alert. |
